Senior Software engineer / architect

We are seeking candidates who already have a strong background in software development or building software architecture.

Startup activity
DIAGNOLY is a DeepTech start-up headquartered in Lyon, France. Our aim is to improve fetal screening and simplify obstetric ultrasound technique for the doctor. To do so, we develop an intelligent medical hardware device that will be connected to ultrasound machines. Analyzing the fetal examination in real time, our product will help doctors to detect the most complex fetal pathologies prenatally. Increasing significantly prenatal detection rate of fetal pathologies, our product will reduce the risk of lifelong disabilities, handicap or lethal outcomes for concerned babies.

Your missions

• Build from scratch a software architecture (excl. front-end) for our medical hardware device,
• Translate our algorithms of computer science (inc. deep learning) from Python to C++ (or QT),
• Deploy the developed numerical platform to an independent hardware device,
• Code management and git server management,
• Product database management

Required

• Excellent knowledge of C++ and Python
• Successful experience of software deployment to the mini PC, ideally for edge computing (Raspberry Pi, Nvidia Jetson, etc)
• Excellent knowledge and experience of an industrial code development
• Good knowledge of C++ code optimization and acceleration
• Knowledge of parallel programming paradigms (on GPU and CPU)
• Knowledge of QT
• Experience with databases management

Preferred

• Basic knowledge of Tensorflow / Tensorflow lite C++
• Startup experience
• Basic understanding of numerical operations
